What are Defensins? What do they do?

Why aren’t skin types and skin analysis important when using DefenAge Cosmeceuticals?
Aging skin is a global condition that occurs in any skin type (dry, oily, normal, combination). Since all aging skin has the same basic needs, we’ve formulated each product for use by all skin types, thereby eliminating the need to analyze your skin. If your skin is aging, you can use our products.
Why do I apply 24/7 Barrier Repair Cream first followed by 8-in-1 BioSerum?
We know this is the reverse of other skin care lines so it probably seems unnatural to you. However, there is a very good reason why we ask you to do this. The cream contains ingredients that help the age-correcting ingredients in the serum to penetrate deeper into your skin’s surface. Putting the serum on first will limit this penetration so you will be less likely to see the dramatic improvements seen and felt by the participants in our clinical studies.
Why don’t you have an eye cream?
It is under development in our laboratory. In the meantime, please be sure to apply the 8-in-1 BioSerum above and below your eyes as directed.
Can I keep using Retin-A®?
Yes, if you want to.
