What are Venus Legacy™ Skin Treatments?
Venus Legacy combines multi-polar radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields to contour your body and rejuvenate your skin without surgery or downtime. VariPulse™ technology allows therapeutic energy to safely travel deep into the skin to increase blood circulation and target subcutaneous fat deposits and cellulite.
Which conditions can be treated?
Venus Legacy has multiple applications for both the face and body. For the face, Venus Legacy is indicated for lines and wrinkles, new blood vessel growth, and for skin tightening. For the body, Venus Legacy is used to decrease cellulite, reduce circumference and increase skin tightening.
• Wrinkle reduction – Softens wrinkles and lines around the neck and décolleté, and firms lax skin around the upper arm.
• Body Contouring – Firms and flattens the abdomen for a more defined waistline.
• Cellulite reduction – Reduces bumps and dimpling around the buttocks and thighs, resulting in a smoother, slimmer silhouette.
Is Venus Legacy right for me?

How do I prepare for treatment?
There is nothing you need to do. However if you have any skin conditions on the area(s) to be treated, please let us know in advance.
What happens during treatment?
We will cleanse your skin and then use the applicator to slowly warm the area until it reaches the required temperature and keep it within that heat range. Treatments take about 15-40 minutes depending on the total area treated and are well-tolerated though if you feel it’s too hot we can easily lower the temperature a bit. The Vari-Pulse feature also applies a gentle suction which can also be adjusted for your comfort. A benefit of Venus Legacy is that it feels like a warm pulsing hot rock massage, which will have you looking forward to your next treatment.
Post-treatment downtime?
You may have some temporary redness in the area, which usually resolves within an hour. You will want to be active after the procedure as the triglycerides are being released, so as not have them reabsorb back into the fat cells. Any gentle exercise such as walking is fine.
How many treatments will I need?
In general, a series of six Venus Legacy treatments is recommended for the face, spaced about a week apart. For body areas, we recommend six to ten treatments, also performed weekly.
When will I see results, and how long do they usually last?
Most patients typically see results after the third treatment, however, many have noted results sooner. With FDA approval, Venus Legacy has documented its results to last a minimum 18 months but will continue to last if one session per quarter is maintained after the original series.
What’s the science?
Using our patented (MP)² technology, Venus Legacy™ combines multi-polar radiofrequency and pulsed electromagnetic fields, which produce a soothing and therapeutic heat matrix over the skin. The radiofrequency causes a thermal reaction in the tissue which stimulates the body’s natural healing response. This restoring response causes new collagen to form, along with the increased production of fibroblasts and new elastin fibers.
Desired treatment outcomes are essentially achieved when the temperature of the skin is elevated. When this happens, the body releases stress hormones, which then activate the enzyme that’s responsible for breaking down and reducing the volume of fat in the body. This gives the body a smoother, more contoured shape
