What’s The Science?

Two articles that feature DefenAge’s proprietary technology were each named “Top Aesthetic Publication”. The first winning article, which was published by the Journal of Drugs in Dermatology, describes a multi-center clinical trial of DefenAge’s signature regimen. The data from the article validates DefenAge as a best-in-class anti-aging solution.

The second winning article is entitled, “Stem Cells in Dermatology and Anti-aging Care of the Skin“. It highlights the advantages of defensin-based technology over older generations of skin care products and describes defensins as a new way to target skin aging. The article is co-authored by renowned dermatologist Amy Forman Taub, MD, FAAD, and a stem cell researcher from Wisconsin University, Kim Pham.

* A six-week clinical study of participants ages 48 to 68 using this regimen: 2-Minute Reveal Masque one-to-two times a week plus 24/7 Barrier Repair Cream and 8-in-1 BioSerum twice daily. Participants realized an overall improvement in skin evenness (a global measurement of the skin surface roughness including pore and wrinkle size and the even or coarse texture of the skin) as measured using QuantifiCare™ Clinical Imaging System as compared to QuantifiCare’s Reference Population Database of normal aging skin for that age group.
