PlasmaSculpt is an injectable treatment which uses a combination of Sculptra Aesthetic, a biocompatible substance made from lactic acid, and growth factors extracted from your own blood. It stimulates elastin and collagen production as well as your skin’s natural support structure, all of which adds volume to the treated areas.
First your blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate out the growth factors. Then a very fine needle is used to artfully target areas of the face, or to fully rejuvenate the full face.
Sculptra is not a typical dermal filler—rather than creating volume by filling, it stimulates collagen genesis which is far more natural. The growth factors amplify Sculptra’s processes. Collagen is built over time, which creates a more natural look gradually so you don’t have the appearance of being “done”.
Fillers, or even Sculptra alone, do not improve skin tone and texture. However injected growth factors will improve your skin’s overall look, it’s elasticity, and bring about glowing, younger-looking skin.
The optimal number of treatments will depend on the condition of your skin and your desired overall results. Benefits are achieved after just one treatment but optimal outcomes are usually achieved with a set of three sessions spaced four to six months apart.
Since PlasmaSculpt promotes your own collagen to grow and regenerate tissue, soften wrinkles, and naturally smooth and tighten skin, the results are longer-lasting than most fillers, so touch-up treatments can be scheduled for as little as every two years.
Visible effects may begin as early as two weeks, with more results occurring over two to three months.
