When will results be visible?
The most dramatic results will show at about two months after the treatment. Initial results will likely show about three weeks after. Your body will continue to flush fat cells for four to six months after your treatment.
Where does the fat go?
Once the fat cells are crystallized, they shrink and die. They are naturally and permanently eliminated from your body.
What does the treatment feel like?
At the start of the treatment, you may feel intense cold and some pressure, both of which will quickly dissipate. Other sensations have been described as pinching, numbness, deep pulling, and discomfort. Rarely is there significant pain.
Am I a good candidate for the CoolSculpting treatment?
This is not a treatment if you suffer from cold agglutinin disease, cryoglobulinemia, or paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria. This is not a treatment for people who are obese. It is effective for those who have diet and exercise resistant fat on hips, abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and under the chin. Do I have to follow any specific diet, medication, or exercise program in conjunction with treatment?
You do not. Many people, however, feel revitalized by this treatment and feel an additional motivation towards living a healthy lifestyle. The elimination of fat cells is aided by a healthy lymphatic system, so hydration and a diet in support of lymph health is recommended, but not essential for results.
