Dynamic wrinkles are caused by our muscles as we repeatedly express ourselves, resulting in smile or frown lines. These are best treated with neurotoxins such as BOTOX® Cosmetic or Dysport®. Static wrinkles, like marionette lines, are caused by the loss of collagen and fat, and by gravity, rather than by muscle movement. This type of wrinkle is best treated with dermal filler. Longer lasting fillers may be appropriate for you. Although they cost more per vial, they can save money in the long run, and mean less visits and injections overall.
The three longer-lasting fillers we use, Bellafill®, Radiesse® and Sculptra® Aesthetic also stimulate collagen and can be noticeably effective for up to five years.
