At HVME, you’ll find a number of highly advanced, minimally invasive treatment options…many of which can be utilized to help significantly reduce the presence of visible spider veins on the arms, hands, or legs.
What Causes Spider Veins?
Spider veins typically occur when the tiny valves within your superficial blood vessels weaken over time. Eventually, this allows those blood vessels to flow backward, causing excess blood to pool near the surface of your skin. This buildup then causes the veins to expand and become more pronounced beneath your skin’s surface.
This process can be triggered by a number of factors, with the simple aging process often being the most common among them. Pregnancy, weight fluctuations, and certain lifestyle choices—like frequently wearing high heels or avoiding regular exercise—can also encourage the formation of visible spider veins by placing extra pressure on your legs, causing your body’s natural circulation to falter and leading to the visible web-like patterns known as spider veins.
