It’s a prescription hyaluronic acid injectable gel designed to integrate into facial skin tissue to temporarily smooth out and fill smile lines (nasolabial folds) and, even severe, lines around lips and mouth. Which conditions can be treated?
Smile lines and wrinkles around the mouth are natural, but that doesn’t mean you have to live with them. BELOTERO BALANCE® treats moderate-to-severe etched-in lines and wrinkles around your mouth, specifically smile lines, vertical lip lines, corner lines, smile lines, and chin wrinkles. Belotero can also be used to treat under-eye bags or shadow circles.

What happens during treatment?
BELOTERO BALANCE is injected into the skin in a quick treatment that can be performed in one short office visit. As with all our injectable fillers, we have options to help manage your comfort which we can discuss during your free consultation.
Post-treatment or downtime?
There is very little to no downtime associated with a BELOTERO BALANCE treatment. Most patients resume their regular, daily activities after their visit but for approximately 24 hours after treatment, please avoid:
• Strenuous activity
• Extensive sun or heat exposure
• Aspirin or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• Alcoholic beverages
Exposure to any of the above can cause temporary redness, swelling, and/or itching at the injection site.
How long until I see results?
After just one treatment of BELOTERO BALANCE, you should see a noticeable difference in your appearance.
How long will results last?
Individual results may vary, but BELOTERO BALANCE may last about six months or more. Some factors that affect how long it lasts are the amount of product used and the area it is injected into. In areas that experience a lot of movement due to eating, talking, and smiling, the product may not last as long as other less active areas.
Can this treatment be used as part of a combo therapy?
Yes! For example, BELOTERO BALANCE® and RADIESSE can be used in tandem on different areas around the mouth to achieve an optimal result.
