Upon returning to California, Nena settled in San Francisco and worked for a short time at a skilled nursing facility. After discovering the wonderful world of esthetics, she made a transition and has never looked back. She has been an esthetic nurse since 2018 and started developing her extensive experience with injectables in 2019. She specializes in BOTOX®, dermal fillers, CoolSculpting® ELITE, and laser treatments.
She has a deep love of attending esthetic conferences, as they keep her up to date on her skills and allow her to learn new things. She always looks forward to helping her patients look and feel their best. In her free time, Nena enjoys hanging out with my family, reading, and traveling.
I could not be happier with my Fraxel experience at Hayes Valley Med Spa with Nena. The instant I met her, I was at ease. She is obviously a skilled nurse who can juggle patient concerns, a sweet bedside manner, and technology. She moved through the treatment quickly but was always aware of my comfort and paused to present me with options for easing pain or stress. In fact, because of her skill, I was surprised at how comfortable I was throughout.
This place has been wonderful I went for Upneeq and lip filler—Nena is a true artist. I have a scar on my lips and she worked around it and made my lips look so natural and back to what I remember! She really listened and didn’t try to upsell me on anything. The front desk was lovely, too. I will be back for more!
