Scarlet RF is a revolutionary short-pulse radiofrequency (RF) plus microneedling skin treatment that increases the density of your skin to improve firmness, and decrease sagging and the appearance of aging. How do I prepare for the treatment?
The Scarlet RF treatment doesn’t need any special preparation before your visit. However, this is a medical treatment, so a consultation with our medical team is required. If you are concerned about physical discomfort or anxiety with treatment, please ask about the PRO-NOX Nitrous Oxide System during your initial consultation.
How long does a treatment take?
Scarlet RF treatments takes about twenty minutes for the face and ten minutes for the neck. The time needed for a body treatment depends on the size and condition of the area to be treated. The Scarlet RF treatment is both time-efficient and revolutionarily effective. Please ask your practitioner if you are concerned about your comfort level.
Post-treatment or downtime?
Scarlet RF is the safest treatment in the field of RF systems, with little to no downtime and no side effects. For just a few hours after your treatment, redness and a little swelling can be expected, though both should only be mild. Your face might feel warm, like you’ve had a mild sunburn. Basic skin and hair care is all that’s needed in the days after the procedure. Most patients return to their regular activities immediately following treatment.
For those receiving a scalp treatment, you may feel a slight pulling or tugging sensation for a few days. As with all our medical treatments, a post-treatment care sheet will be provided, along with contact information.
How long until I see results?
Some visible tightening results come immediately, and the results of dermal remodeling appear over time as collagen and elastin fibers regenerate. For most patients, measurable results appear gradually in two to three months. A minimum of three sessions is recommended for optimal results. The results can last six months to a year, depending on your general skin condition, and touch-up procedures can help maintain your appearance over time.
